President's Economy Runwithlunch at Woody Point29th July 2002 Club outingGarth and Dave casually giving directions to Margaret, with Geoff listening eagerly. The President came and wished us well on our run. Garth and Dave handed out directions for the economy run and the members cars were dispatched at staggered interval. We cruised through Beenleigh onto Brown Plains. Through there and onto Progress road Richardlands and then onto Centenary Hwy. We turn off after Mt Coot-tha turnoff and drove out to Enoggera onto Eagle Junction . We then went north on Eastern Bypass past Toombul out to the Gateway. Deagon deviation and ended at the BP at Woody point. The distance was 96 klms. All during this time the Navigator was answering the questions. Adrian stopped and had a chat with the Treasurer on the side of the road. Graham and Carol were unable to join us due to family commitments. Adrian had the club trailer ready to go at his mothers place at Woody Point. The group decided to have lunch on the western side of Woody Point and the breeze was quite strong. Our Barby was not hot enough so we took advantage of the public facilities. John leaving the Picnic area at Woody Point Geoff was the overall winner of the day in his Jaguar. We had a great time and look forward to the next one. The keen photographer for the day was Leonard.
