LEYLAND P76 NATIONAL MEET EASTER 2006


Thursday 13th & Friday 14th April

Pick up Information Pack from the Cootamundra Information Centre at the Cootamundra railway.

Proceeding to the hall at the Library where the Country Club booked the Steven Ward room for the weekend and Register, meet with the other P76 families and friends

Morning tea,(Free) maybe talk, sell items? See the sites of Cootamundra (a booklet will be given in your rally bag with a map showing tourist attractions). After lunch there was the concourse with the great team of judges.

Sat 15th April

The photo shoot at the Cootamundra Oval

Travel to Junee.
View Monte Cristo, house built in 1884, and nearly destroyed earlier in the month by bushfires.
Junee Roundhouse Rail & Transport museum, (also lucky to be saved from the fires) and
the Junee Liquorice and Chocolate Factory.
There are many places in Junee where you can have lunch or take a picnic lunch to have in the lovely park areas.

Sunday 16th April

Arrive at 44 Poole St and line up for another photo shoot with all the cars angled in Poole St.

On leaving for Temora there will be an observation run, with a P76 parade in front of the retirement village to be reviewed by the Patron of the P76 Country Club, Reg Morrisey.

Then travel to Temora to view the Aircraft Museum.

Monday 17th April

Breakfast (Free) and farewell for those who cannot stay at 7.30 to 8.30 at Club hall.

A short drive to Young. Leaving 9.30 from the Hall to visit PJ’s Jam factory for morning tea and you can take a picnic lunch or buy it and take it out to the Chinese Gardens for lunch.
