The Sunrise Show

Tue, 11 Oct 2005

We were at The Cootamundra Railway Station at 5.30 and that is why some of the photos are a little dark.
After all the show is called Sunrise.
Fourteen cars from the Cootamundra Antique Motor Club including three Leyland P76's from the Country P76 Club formed part of the background for weatherman Grant Denyer.
Michael was interviewed by Grant about the Leyland P76 and also about our "Woody" which is known all over Australia. The Woody has travelled to every state except Northern Territory and we hope to do that when Michael is well enough.
We have tried to promote the P76 National Meet and to keep the interest in this Aussie Icon, by Michael being interviewed on the show, even if it was 6.30 in the morning.
We now have entries from all states except Northern Territory and even have four coming from NZ. to the National Meet.
As soon as I know the cost of the meals for Saturday and Sunday night I will advise all our entries.
Michael being well enough we are taking the Aspin Green Targa to the Muscle Day at Eastern Creek at the end of this month and hope to have plenty of photos and also promote the National Meet.
Keep your entries coming in for the National Meet.
