Engine Mount Saver

By Jilden

Method

Cut and bend up the flat bar as shown, drill 10mm holes to attach to P76 engine and crossmember, drill 19mm holes for the shocker rubbers, weld to the top of the mount.

Install with the angle plate under the bracket on the crossmember. When tightened moderately, the shocker rubbers don't interfere with normal engine motion, but stop tearing of the P76 mounts when you drop the clutch vigorously.

Materials

  • 40x5mm flat mild steel
